Chiefs suck. Bucs rule. Syndicate loses big.

Super Bowl LV went against the Syndicate's prediction as the Kansas City Chiefs showed none of the offense that we expected to see. They didn't score a touchdown for the first time in quarterback Patrick Mahome's NFL career. With one exception, the offensive weapons didn't show up.

The Syndicate was on its way to a historic loss until three propositions hit in the fourth quarter. We will collect $1,819.40 for a loss of $1,680.60, the third biggest loss in the 30-year history of the Syndicate and the biggest since losing $1,902 in the 2011 Super Bowl. The all-time record loss is $3,030 when the Colts beat the Bears in the 2007 game..

The game got off to a bad start when Bucs running back Leonard Fournette was held to 3 yards on his first carry of the game. We had a prop in parlay of over 3.5 yards on his first carry. Since the other half of that parlay hit, the Syndicate missed on a payday of $1,002 by one yard.

That was the start of a grim night.

We didn't hit our first proposition until the fourth quarter when Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce went over 98.5 yards receiving. He finished with 133 yards. A second sack by the Buccaneers added $267. Then when the Chiefs converted a fourth down on their last possession, we cashed a ticket for $592. Add two wins in our crossover bets and we will collect $1,819.40.
